National Oral, Head and Neck Cancer Awareness Week raises awareness for oral, head, and neck cancer and the need for early detection in order to save lives.

This is also the time for recognizing those who care for children and adults born with heart defects, as well as researchers and other heart experts.
National Patient Recognition Week promotes observance of health care patients. This week revolves around patient satisfaction, and upon observing patient satisfaction, Patient Recognition Week promotes the idea that patient involvement is paramount to increase their satisfaction.
